Assessment before recommendation.
When a watch comes to Cogwise, the first step is always an assessment — not a default booking of the most expensive option. We look at the movement, run it on the timing machine if it is running, note the condition of gaskets and case surfaces, and form a clear picture of what the watch actually needs.
From that assessment comes a written recommendation and estimate. In some cases, the answer is a straightforward battery change. In others, it becomes clear that a movement service is overdue. Occasionally a piece arrives that warrants a patient, documented restoration. We match the service to the watch.

Battery & Seal Service
